Once upon a time three Jennies and a Kenny walked into a disability support group...
and somewhere along the way, we started fundraising for #AccessibleHousingFIRST

We’re disabled people helping disabled people because, unfortunately, we’ve all been there. You can read about some of the roadblocks we’ve faced—or contribute directly to our cause here:
Cat Castle. Donating through this link is the most cost-effective way to help financially.

This side project grew from the generous offers of “A Box of Stuff You Can Sell” that so many kind people have given us over time. This unneeded stuff—along with some hard work and community organizing—have already helped us to directly assist more than 10 individuals and families with essential goods, and even more than that through our #AccessibleHousingFIRST campaign (linked above)

How does it work?
We collect, organize, and redistribute unneeded items—either giving them directly to people in need or selling them to raise funds for accessible housing. Unfortunately, we’ve had to decline many useful donations in the past because homelessness and limited resources made it impossible to manage everything. But we know how much is possible when people work together.

Here’s what we’re asking:
🌟 If you’re decluttering, consider donating clean, usable items like:
- Kitchenware, tools, or decor
- Crafts, puzzles, games, or toys
- Collectibles and valuables should be marked please
- Even broken or incomplete items like puzzles, markers, crayons, charger cords, or art supplies
- What do you have to share?
 |
| Mystery Yard Sale valuables and antiques should be marked |
What we can’t accept (for now):Due to space and disability limits, and the risks of pests, we can’t accept furniture, clothing, or any dangerous/controlled goods.
 |
No clothes or furniture please. Severe asthma/allergies and bedbugs make these items unmanageable for our volunteers |
Every donation helps us create #AccessibleHousingFIRST, turning what might have been discarded into real, tangible support for people who need it most. Let’s work together to turn unneeded treasures into a future where everyone has a place to call home.
